Russ participated in his first Seattle to Portland bike ride yesterday. He rode the 204 mile trip with a handful of friends while the girls and I drove to Portland to watch them cross the FINISH. Everyone had a blast, and we are so proud of the whole group! Amazing! They completed it in one day...left at 4:something AM and finished while it was still light out (8:30-ish). Here they are looking incredibly good after 204 miles:

My 204 miles had some challenges, but that's a story for another day...

Way to go Dad!

That's amazing! Tell Russ I'm in for next year.
Way to go Russ! (And April - I'm sure the drive was an adventure all it's own.) Good to "see" you both and your darling girls. Our #2 is Eleanor(e) too and she was very excited to see a photo of another little girl with her name. I just explained to my oldest, Abigail, that I've known April since elementary school. (Second grade for sure - maybe before? My memory recalls you wearing a yellow shirt with black stripes and black stretch pants...?) She was blown away. Hope you're as well and happy as you look!
Awesome! Love your jersey Russ and your beard! We love you!
