We were lucky to have some cousins come stay with us last week. I felt like I was on vacation the whole time because we saw all the fun stuff with some fun people! And I had some extra hands (and feet) to keep up with Ella. Russ even took a day off to join us at the Science Center and the beach. I have over 600 pictures of their visit...I went a little crazy with the camera. There are lots of fun memories, so I will probably do this in a couple of posts... The first day of the visit was spent at Carkeek Park during the morning low tide. We found lots of sea creatures and were able to talk with some naturalists who taught us about the stuff we were seeing. Ryan gets the award for finding all of the really cool and hard to find stuff...he has some sort of sixth sense for it.
That night we had a BBQ at the park to celebrate Rachael's birthday. I totally forgot my camera, but Rachael got this picture of Russ at the BBQ:
The park overlooks the Sound so we got to watch cruise ships leaving the city. The kids did a lot of races around the picnic tables while Allie laughed at them.
