Lauren's last dance class was today, so they let parents come to see all that the kids have learned. Russ was able to sneak out of work for a bit to come see too. Lauren was so excited...she kept looking over at us and was so proud of herself. We were very proud too. The thing that made me smile the most was that Lauren had a comment for everything the teacher said...what happened to my shy girl?

Ella thought she was part of the action too. I kept her on my lap and fed her gummy treats to keep her still. Once I ran out of gummies, we had to take turns with her in the hall.

That's exactly how Ashley danced in her first dance class. Must run in the family. ;) Lauren's facial expression in the second photo looks so much like you when you were little. I bet Ella was just dieing to get out on that dance floor!
