The girls and I walked to Russ's lab this morning to pick up our car (long story). It was a gorgeous day so the walk was a welcome delight. The walk was about 5 miles and followed the canal between the Sound, Lake Union, and Lake Washington. The girls collected sticks, rocks, dandelions, and grass. We got to see the Fremont and University Bridges raise. A fire rescue boat passed us, but Lauren was disappointed that it wasn't using the sirens. The best part was eating lunch with Dad at the end of trip.

Those are such cute beautiful pictures! I am impressed that you walked for five miles with the girls! It looks like they love the outdoors...like their Daddy and Mommy do!
