We borrowed this balance bike from another family in our playgroup about a week ago. I am amazed at how quickly cautious Lauren got the hang of it. I let her ride it on our way to get hair cuts tonight (about a mile away). I had to run the whole way...
We also borrowed this bike from some friends. Ella spends most of her day scooting around the house on her sweet chopper:
WOW! Lauren's good! She's better than Megan and Ashley. I'm trying to convert an old piece of junk bike we bought for cheep a few years ago into a balance bike. I took the training wheels off it today but the back wheel keeps coming off. Makes balancing extremely hard when that happens. I think I need Devin's help. :)
That's awesome. Lauren is really good! Carter is still having a hard time riding a 2 wheeler. Your girls are getting so big. I haven't checked your blog in a few weeks & I can't believe how much Ella has changed in just that amount of time. I love the pic of her on her little bike...so cute!

Lauren calls it "floating on her bike." Maybe the twins can learn to ride a unicycle instead :)
Lauren is amazing! I've never seen a child her age balance so well! Good for her!!
