Sunday was our Stake Conference which meant we spent the whole day together as a family and church was over by noon! I was in desperate need of such a day...I have been unusually exhausted the last few days. Anyway, it was a great chance for me to just sit and let Russ do everything. And do everything he did. Plus some:
Russ likes to bake on Sundays, so he made this amazing apple cobbler which we took to enjoy with some friends after an amazing dinner (provided by our wonderful friends). It's not clear in the picture, but he carved a sunshine face into the crust to commemorate our Seattle summer which lasted the first two weeks of September. Yum!

Yum! I'm jealous. Devin only cooks omelets, toast, and frozen burritos. Russ needs to teach him a few things. Ha, ha!
Looks yummy!
Hey, I've lost your email and phone number but I wanted to say Happy Birthday. I really did remember it on the 22nd and I thought of you all day. I would have called if I had your phone number. It's been way too long since we've chatted. I hope you are well. And Happy Belated Birthday.
