Museum of Flight

We've wanted to visit the 

Museum of Flight

ever since we moved here, so we finally made the trip last weekend. 

We were especially excited to take Ella because she is fascinated with airplanes. 

It didn't disappoint.

It was a fun trip for me personally because they had a whole section on space travel. 

In a previous life (or about a year and half ago), I worked on a team that sold the rockets that put these babies into orbit. (You can tell how cool Lauren thinks that is):

There was an air traffic control tower where you could listen to recordings of pilots talking to air control. When Lauren picked up the phone, she got really excited and waved the phone around while yelling, "Mommy! Mommy!  It's Uncle Devin!  I hear Uncle Devin!"  Uncle Devin flies Apache helicopters for the military. 

 Fun, fun times.
