Lucy Pet
Lauren has a new pet named Lucy Pet. He is a caterpillar that found his way into our house via the radishes from our garden. He lives in this glass jar and gets lots of leaves and loves from Lauren. When he turns into a butterfly, Lauren says she will "turn the lid off, and he flies every place he wants to go."

Cute. Cute picture of Lauren. April had a caterpillar a couple of years ago. She named it Sarah. She named every bug she caught those two or three years Sarah. Sadly, Sarah did not turn into a butterfly. She did not survive. I could not figure out what we did wrong with her little ecosystem there. Oh, well.
