Space Needle and Friday the 13th

They gave out free tickets to ride the Space Needle today, and since I'm a sucker for "free," I packed up the girls and arrived right at 9 o'clock when it opened.  I should mention I'm terrified of heights and don't particularly like glass elevators...not sure why I was so stuck on the idea that we had to do this.  I will admit that I was secretly hoping for a crazy long line so we would have to turn around and go home.  Ends up there was no line and no time to rethink my decision.  We walked straight on the elevator and up we went.  I'm not sure what the girls thought of the ride, since I was pretty much frozen the whole way up.  Once we were at the top, I relaxed and we enjoyed a nice stroll around the observation deck and a pretzel brunch.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED IT!!!

Way to go April! I remember when we were little it terrified you (which in turn terrified me) to ride the glass elevator at Southtowne Mall. And that only went up one floor.

I don't like heights either. Must run in the family. You are brave! Lauren's hair is so long. It's beautiful!
