Ahhhh, my favorite flower! Remember how mom used to let us take tulips to church to give to our primary teachers? We would wrap a wet paper towl around the bottom of the stem to let it "drink" and then wrap tin foil around the paper towel to keep our hands dry. Not sure if it really worked for the flower but I have good memories of mom's tulips!
