Legs

I was cooking dinner one night last week when Lauren called out, "Mom! Ella colored on my legs!" I didn't buy the part about Ella, but I knew I was going to see this when I peeked over the counter:

I made Lauren come stand eye to eye with me while I asked, "Who colored on your legs?" Her timid reply was "I did," but it came with a huge smile and those puppy dog eyes kids know how to pull. "Why?" I demanded. Her response: "I was just sending a card to Grandma."

Watch out Grandma. I'm tempted to send you the whole package.
