Play Group
We love our weekly get together with our play group. Being new to the city, the play group has been a great way for us to learn the fun parts of Seattle. Our journey today took us to a kids fair at the city center. The fair was put on by a group called Seventh Generation who is raising awareness about out-dated toxin legislation. I found it very informative and the girls seemed to have a blast. One of the booths let them make their own protest signs (I have to admit that was a little weird). Lauren camped out there for a while and made at least two signs (she would have made all of them had they let her). I didn't get a picture of her with her picket sign because it ended up in the trash (I couldn't carry it home on the bus-both arms were already spoken for). I got a few shots of the girls with my phone:
There were also lots of cameras taking pictures of all the kids parading about in the free promotional gear they were giving out. They seemed to like Ella a lot (who can resist that toothy smile and those pigtails?). I'm going to watch the news tonight to see if we made the cut :)

So were you on the news? Ella in that bib is irresistable! Her hair is getting so long.
Yes...Lauren made the news last night. She was playing in the background on several of their shots. Unfortunately, I can't find the story on their website. I'll keep looking and post it if I find it. It was fun to see her...they even showed the story just as Russ walked into the house so he got to watch too.
For some reason, I feel like I should say "NO" to toxins.
