Good Idea #1: Let Lauren paint so I have a few minutes to get some things done.
Good Idea #1 went bad because Lauren thought it was body paint.
Good Idea #2: Laugh about it and join in the fun.
Good Idea #2 went bad because Lauren thought it would be twice as funny if Ella were orange too.
Good Idea #3: Take pictures.
Good Idea #3 went bad because Lauren wanted a turn.
I'm still learning...but at least the paint is washable, and I got my money's worth out of the soap I used to clean them.
I still thing my ideas were good.

Those are good ideas, but sometimes those good ideas just don't work out quite right. I've learned this many times over.
I'm glad you took some pictures! :) I love Ella's hair! It looks like the girls had a great time with your good ideas!
