Camping

We took the girls camping about two weeks ago. It was the first time Lauren and Ella have gone. Russ and I used to camp before the girls joined us, so we decided that now is a great time to get back into it. The trip went well...we left in the middle of the one rain storm we've had since we got here. It ended up being dry while we were camping, with the exception of some rain during the night...at least it didn't rain while we were outside. Lauren loved the fact that she got to sleep in the tent, and was even more excited when she woke up in the morning and found that she got to sleep in her own sleeping bag. When we got home, she informed us that she wanted to sleep in the "temple" again (she confuses"temple" and "tent"). Ella loved it too, but seemed a little disappointed that I would set her down to play in the mud. We will definitely be camping again soon....
